
Colson Baker(born April 22nd, 1990) popularly referred to as Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), is an American musician, rapper as well as a songwriter, actor and rapper. Before signing with Bad Boy Records, Machine Gun Kelly (born on April 22nd the 22nd of April, 1990) is famous for his unique style of hip hop. The album he released first called Lace Up (2012 with a peak at 4th place on the US Billboard 200), featured his hit single "Wild Boy" featuring Waka Flocka Flam. The second and third albums, General Admission (2015) and Bloom (2017) both had similar commercial success; the album also featured the hit single "Bad Things" (with Camila Cabello), which peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. His fourth album, Hotel Diablo (2018) included rap music. Machine Gun Kelly's fifth album, Tickets to My Downfall was released in the year 2020. The album was the beginning of a new era in hip hop and a transition into the world of pop punk. It reached number one on Billboard 200 and was the only rock album that reached the same rank. The track "My Ex's Best Friend" also made it to the top 20 of the Hot 100. The album's sequel Mainstream Sellout (1922) was an immediate commercial success.
