Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the combat sports. She began training in kickboxing boxing wrestling and BJJ before making her debut as an amateur at the age of 18, at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to continue building upon her triumph in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She defeated all her competitors in the initial round. After that, she went back to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen first defeated Silvia Babyghian prior to going to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and swept her away in unanimity to create a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd bounced back from defeat by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015, when she signed with Invicta FC. At InvictaFC 11, she had her very first professional fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: Aspen won the next match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to beat McGill in the third round via TKO. Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at a "catchweight"(138.1lb), because Ladd failed to make weight. Aspen, however, defeated Hoy by using TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last fight for the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina by pounding and grounding her before prevailing by TKO in second round. The next time she fought Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd defeated Evinger in the first round and got a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was the first match she's ever had in any significant capacity. Ladd's win was a majority decision, and the Fight of the Night award went to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. After a short break, she returned to finish Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her place, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight ended in a unanimous verdict.
