Jessica resigned from the TV show 7th Heaven after performing in its sixth season. The show became a hit due to her exceptional acting skills as teenage Casey Jackson in Ulee's Gold. In fact, this movie won her Best New Actress in Supporting. Summer Catch is a great example of her talent. The movie Rules of Attraction did not have much success despite her impressive performance. The performance she gave of The Texas Chainshaw Massacre, the horror film that she starred in was noticed by the general public. The suspense films she has acted in has proved her a serious actor.
